Message set of GD DPs. Your point is still clear, I'm just saying that's not accurate =)

I did the math a while back in an old post:
$150 pipes + ~$200 to install (Most people don't DIY and some people pay even MORE for installs as we've seen). That's $350. IF a set were to crack within a year (and again, we don't know for sure just yet), that's another $150 for more pipes and another $200 for install.

Grand total: $700 + the hassle. And you STILL have the copies. If you went with quality pipes after that failure, you're up to $1,000 invested. If you had bought quality pipes the first time around, you'd be at $650 and you'd never have to touch them again

And then, of course, there are threads like these I have saved in my Bookmarks (one of many)

Sure, those things are ultra-cheap compared to any other maker out there (B&B, GD, Z1, etc) but why not just do it right the first time if you have the money? Skimp on an econobox Honda, not on a high performance Twin Turbo.

That's my opinion anyway...this is not knocking other people who decided to save a buck.
